Samantha Rowen, MPO
Resident Prosthetist Orthotist
Samantha received her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering with a concentration in mechanical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. She first became interested in the prosthetics and orthotics (P&O) field in her freshman year of undergrad when she presented about a robotic exoskeleton at the University of Pittsburgh’s First Year Engineering Conference.
After shadowing and interning at Ability Ottobock.care in York, PA, she decided to pursue a career in P&O where she could combine her bioengineering background and affinity for patientcare. After graduating, she accepted a position at Ability Ottobock.care as a clinical assistant and patient care coordinator while pursuing her master’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics at Northwestern University.
Samantha had the opportunity to complete her residency at Ability Ottobock.care in Exton where she was able to continue her hands-on education. She is excited to be moving to Ability Ottobock.care in Limerick to further serve the surrounding community.
